The invitation letter form should be used to request an invitation letter to initiate request for travel visas.

Complete your conference registration, then complete the Visa Letter Request Form. The registrar will immediately receive the form once submitted and will process letters within 2 business days.

Please Note: Prior to receiving a Visa letter of invitation, you will need to complete and pay for your conference registration. As Visa requests can take several weeks, registrants are strongly encouraged to apply for the Letter of Invitation no later than two months prior to the conference.

Yes, the conference proceedings will be available via the AIS eLibrary.

Conference attire is business casual. Meeting room temperatures may be cool, and climate varies, so layered clothing may provide the greatest comfort. Be sure to check the local weather for the current conditions.

We will do our best to accommodate your special dietary needs. Please select your special meal request from the options provided during your conference registration prior to the conference. All special dietary requests must be made 2 weeks before the conference start date; requests made within two weeks of the conference may not be accommodated.

Pre-conference workshops require full conference registration.

If you have already completed a conference registration, you will then click “Modify” then “Attendee Selections” to add your desired workshop or ancillary meeting. Complete your purchase to be enrolled in the session.

For the paper to appear in the AMCIS proceedings, at least one author of each paper is required to participate in the paper session and register for the conference by the early registration deadline. Failure to comply with this requirement will result in the removal of your paper from the conference proceedings.

Each additional co-author attending the conference must register independently.

Yes, you may register and pay onsite although we strongly encourage all participants to register and pay in advance due to space limitations and to ensure all your registration requests/needs can be met (all special meal requests must be submitted two weeks prior to the conference).

We accept personal checks, Electronic Funds Transfer (Wire), ACH transfers, VISA, MasterCard and American Express. In addition, cash is accepted onsite.

Please note: Conference badges will not be issued until payment is made in full. Register early to take advantage of the early registration discounts!

Conference registrations fees can be paid in advance or onsite but must be paid in full prior to collecting your badge and other registration materials.

Purchase orders are not permitted. Instead, you may complete the online registration form and select the check payment option as your form of payment and later remit payment. Please note your registration will not be processed until payment has been received. If evidence of payment is not available onsite, the participant will be given a registration badge only after a valid credit card number has been provided as a guarantee until staff returns to the office following the conference to verify payment.

Wire transfers are accepted. Please contact the conference registrar (registrar@aisnet.org) to request the wire transfer instructions. Next complete the online registration form, be sure to select “check” as your method of payment. Once your wire payment is received, we will post the payment to your registration record then send you an updated registration receipt to confirm.

Please Note: Conference badges will not be issued until payment is made in full. If evidence of payment is not available onsite, the participant will be given a registration badge only after he/she provides a valid credit card number as a guarantee until staff returns to the office following the conference to verify payment.

We strongly encourage all participants to complete the conference registration as soon as possible.

Request for cancellation must be in writing via email to registrar@aisnet.org, and are subject to the following schedule:

    • Received by June 18, full refund less $25 administrative fee.
    • Received between June 19 – August 4, full refund less $50 administrative fee.
    • Received August 5 – 8, full refund less $150 administrative fee.

Cancellation requests received beginning August 14 will not be eligible to receive a refund; the registrant will be liable for the full conference registration fee. This also includes workshop cancellations.

Guest Full Package tickets are available for purchase and include a printed badge, all conference provided meals and evening events. Or you may purchase a guest individual ticket for the single evening events. You may pay for your guest ticket through the online registration form or make your purchase while onsite.

Please note: Guest tickets do not include access to educational sessions.

To add a guest ticket to your full conference registration please follow this link and make sure you are logged in to your AIS account. Click on “Register”. If you have already completed a conference registration, you will then click “Modify” then “Attendee Selections”. Click on “Save & Add Another Attendee”. Enter your guest’s information, click next, select the type of guest ticket you wish to purchase, and complete your transaction.

The primary registrant must purchase a full conference registration to be eligible to purchase guest ticket(s).

Please note: Guest tickets do not include access to educational sessions.

Student Doctoral Consortium invitees who are first time AIS members are eligible to receive a complimentary one-year AIS student membership; please contact the Membership Director membership@aisnet.org to receive the promo code which you will need to complete your complimentary membership registration. If you are already a current member or have been in the past and will be renewing your membership, Doctoral Consortium registration does not change your membership status and renewal will be at the prevailing rate.
