Max Labs Project

The Max Labs Project is a Silicon Valley spin-off from San Jose State University where a set of hands-on exercises was developed in 2014 to supplement the standard Intro to Systems course, giving any/all Business students a chance to build mobile & web enterprise apps in the cloud with no-coding. Cast as blog postings by a fictional student in the course, the Max Labs broke the mold using “storification” to engage iGen students and make learning fun and palpably experiential. They quickly became a hit with both faculty and students, and by 2016, other schools were looking to adopt them, so the Max Labs Project was founded to disseminate, maintain and support the labs and the user community which continues to grow today.
