Founded in 1957, the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) is a doctoral degree-granting institution of approximately 30,000 students and more than 3,600 faculty and staff. UNLV is classified by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching as an R1 research university with very high research activity. Home to approximately 4,000 students, including 500 graduate students and 85 faculty members, Lee Business School (LBS) at UNLV offers seven master’s degree programs, including an Executive MBA and two interdisciplinary MS programs, and nine undergraduate degree programs. The Information Systems (IS) group within LBS at UNLV is part of the Management, Entrepreneurship, and Technology (MET) Department, and it consists of 13 full-time faculty members, including 11 tenured and track faculty members.
